Microsoft Teams may not be the first name that comes to mind for a videoconferencing solution. But it should be at the top as it is Microsoft’s premiere communications tool. Teams was built on its Skype platform and has been critical to the collaboration of global medical and research teams, including Bill Gates and Gates Foundation work, during the Pandemic crisis period.
Teams provides a high-security environment for deposition testimony. The difference between Teams and other solutions is Microsoft’s integration between Teams and its Office 365 applications and Outlook. Teams has advantages, such as making text transcriptions available shortly after the event.
